Stephanie Tenney
Instructor
Stephanie’s fitness journey began at age 26 after auditioning for The Biggest Loser with her father. Although they were cut in the final rounds, the experience ignited something—especially for her dad. Watching the transformation and seeing him level up, shifted perspective and ignited a flame within her—if he could make those gains, she knew she could too! Secretly competitive by nature, it was just the boost she needed to give it a go and start rewriting her story! Stephanie fell in love with high-intensity workouts like TITLE Boxing, running, and dance fitness.
She realized that in order to sustain the changes, her workouts, had to feel good—and that meant sweating it out to music bangers! Music had always been a coping strategy in mood management, so the combination of hard hitting beats and movement became her therapy!Â
Still, even after significant weight loss, self-doubt and negative self-talk kept her from pursuing her long-held dream of becoming a fitness instructor. That changed when she turned 40!  On this particular birthday, Stephanie adopted the personal mantra: “No longer bound by fear," and from then, her dreams started becoming realities.Â
Stephanie finally earned her certification in Turn Up Dance Fitness; a format she had admired (and secretly stalked on social media) for years. She fell in love with the way Turn Up rekindled her joy for dance, minus the club scene. Soon after, she also earned her Step It + Strength certification and plans to continue growing her credentials.
With a heart for serving others and a passion for music-driven fitness, Stephanie is excited to share the Turn Up experience with others—because this journey isn’t just about fitness; it’s about expression, empowerment, confidence, and community- values that ADF embodies as well. So let's level up together and grow the Turn Up Squad!
